Who We Are
Global Analytic Solutions LLC d/b/a PickPilot (“PickPilot”, “we”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how data related to your use of our iOS application and related services (the “Service”) is handled.
PickPilot is also available as an Android application distributed through Google Play. References to the “Service” in this Privacy Policy include both the iOS and Android versions of PickPilot, except where a provision expressly applies only to a particular platform.
Scope & Audience
This Policy applies to users located in the United States. If you are outside the U.S., do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
PickPilot itself does not directly collect personal data from users. Any information associated with your use of the app is collected and processed by third-party service providers such as Apple (App Store, in-app purchases, device settings), AWS Cognito (authentication and account management), and AppsFlyer (install attribution and advertising performance measurement). These providers may collect identifiers, account information, device information, and engagement signals strictly for the purpose of enabling authentication, managing subscriptions, performing attribution, and analyzing app usage. PickPilot does not maintain independent copies of this data outside of these services.
Android and Google Play: Although PickPilot does not maintain independent copies of user personal data outside of the service providers described above, certain information is transmitted from the Android application to third-party service providers in order to provide authentication, subscriptions, attribution, analytics, and related functionality. On Android, these providers also include Google through Google Sign-In and Google Play.
Depending on the features you use, information processed in connection with the Android version may include your email address and account or user identifiers for authentication; subscription product, plan, purchase-status, and entitlement information provided through Google Play; and device, app, session, install-referrer, advertising identifier, app-interaction, conversion-event, diagnostic, and network information used for attribution and analytics.
AppsFlyer may process the Google Advertising ID (“GAID”) or other device identifiers when available, install-referrer information, device and application information, app and session activity, attribution and conversion events, diagnostic or performance information, and an IP address that may be used to derive an approximate geographic location such as city, state, or country.
PickPilot does not request Android precise-location permissions and does not use the Android application to collect precise GPS location. PickPilot also does not collect payment card numbers, bank-account information, or other payment credentials. Payment credentials associated with Android purchases are handled by Google Play.
For purposes of applicable platform privacy disclosures, including Google Play disclosures, information transmitted from the application or an embedded software development kit (“SDK”) to a service provider may be treated as information collected by the application even when PickPilot does not maintain an independent copy of that information.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
-
Authenticate users and manage accounts via AWS Cognito;
-
Deliver content from S3 through CloudFront and operate core features;
-
Enforce plan limits, detect abuse, and secure the Service;
-
Improve performance, reliability, and user experience;
-
Measure marketing effectiveness and optimize ad campaigns by attributing clicks, installs, and subscription conversions;
-
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
For the Android version of PickPilot, we may also use information to authenticate users through Google Sign-In and AWS Cognito; determine, restore, and manage Google Play subscription entitlement; measure application installs and in-app conversion events through AppsFlyer; analyze use of subscription and application features; measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns; and support the security, reliability, and proper operation of the Service.
3. How We Share Information
PickPilot does not sell personal data. We may rely on third-party service providers, who may share limited data for their specific purposes:
-
Service Providers: Amazon Web Services (Cognito, S3, CloudFront), AppsFlyer (attribution), and similar partners strictly to operate and measure the Service.
-
Advertising Partners: Attribution data (e.g., installs, subscription events) may be shared with networks such as Apple Search Ads, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and others to measure campaign performance.
-
Legal/Compliance: To comply with the law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.
-
Business Transfers: In case of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
-
Google Services: On Android, Google may process information in connection with Google Sign-In, Google Play subscriptions and purchases, and related Google platform services.
-
Android Attribution and Analytics: AppsFlyer may process attribution, device, application, session, install-referrer, app-interaction, conversion-event, diagnostic, network, and approximate IP-derived location information on our behalf for analytics, attribution, fraud prevention, and marketing measurement.
Where advertising-partner integrations or attribution postbacks are enabled, limited attribution and conversion information may also be transmitted to advertising and marketing platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, and other advertising partners identified above, for campaign measurement and optimization. We do not provide these partners with your payment-card information or account password.
4. Data Security
We use technical and organizational measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and least-privilege IAM. Private data is not stored in public buckets. No system is 100% secure; report concerns to Info@globalanalyticsolutions.com.
5. Data Retention
PickPilot does not itself retain personal data. Instead, our service providers (Apple, AWS Cognito, AppsFlyer, and similar partners) collect, process, and store data on our behalf in order to operate authentication, subscriptions, attribution, and analytics. These providers manage retention in accordance with their own policies and legal obligations. We do not maintain independent copies of user personal data outside of these services.
On Android, certain application information, including saved PickPilot picks, grading information, roster identifiers, custom scoring information, and related preferences, may be stored locally on your device. The current Android implementation does not upload that locally stored saved-pick information to a PickPilot account or PickPilot user-data database. Local information may remain on the device until it is removed through application functionality, application-data clearing, or removal of the application, as applicable.
Google Play may separately retain transaction and subscription records in accordance with Google’s own policies and legal obligations.
If you delete your PickPilot account, we will delete or cause the deletion of account information under our control, subject to information that may need to be retained for legitimate purposes such as security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or enforcement of our agreements. Third-party service providers may also retain information as permitted or required under their own applicable policies and legal obligations.
Deleting a PickPilot account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions must be separately managed or canceled through the applicable app store.
6. Your Choices & Rights
Certain processing is required for the Service to function. By creating an account and using PickPilot, you agree to data handling by our third-party providers (e.g., Apple for purchases, AWS Cognito for login, and AppsFlyer for attribution).
-
Apple: Subscription and purchase data is managed via your Apple ID settings.
-
AWS Cognito: Authentication information is managed through your chosen sign-in provider (e.g., Sign in with Apple).
-
AppsFlyer & Attribution: With your consent via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, we may use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for ad attribution. If you decline, attribution will occur through Apple’s SKAdNetwork in a privacy-preserving way.
For questions, contact Info@globalanalyticsolutions.com.
Google Play: Subscription and purchase information for Android purchases is managed through your Google Play account. Google Play handles the payment credentials used to complete purchases. PickPilot receives and uses subscription and purchase-state information needed to determine access to subscription features. You may manage or cancel an Android subscription through Google Play.
Google Sign-In: If you choose Google Sign-In on Android, your authentication is performed through Google and AWS Cognito. PickPilot does not receive your Google account password.
AppsFlyer on Android: AppsFlyer may process the Google Advertising ID (GAID), install-referrer information, device and application information, application and session activity, attribution and conversion events, diagnostic information, and approximate location inferred from IP address for attribution, analytics, fraud prevention, and marketing measurement. The current Android implementation does not intentionally send your email address, Cognito user identifier, authentication tokens, Google authentication tokens, or Google Play purchase token to AppsFlyer.
Account Deletion: You may delete your PickPilot account from within the application through My Account → Delete Account. If you cannot access the application or need assistance with an account-deletion request, you may contact us at Info@globalanalyticsolutions.com. Deleting your PickPilot account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription, which must be managed separately through the applicable app store.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. International Use
The Service currently operates for U.S. users only. Do not use the Service if you are located outside the United States.
9. Attribution & SKAdNetwork (SKAN)
PickPilot uses the AppsFlyer SDK and Apple’s SKAdNetwork (SKAN) to measure app installs, free trials, and subscription conversions. This helps us understand which campaigns bring users to the app and improve user acquisition efficiency while preserving user privacy.
Events Collected: registration, free trial start, subscription conversions, and limited feature usage (e.g., “Predict All Games”).
Identifiers: If a user consents to tracking via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, the advertising identifier (IDFA) may be collected. If consent is not granted, attribution is handled through SKAN using aggregated, non-identifying data.
Use of Data: Attribution data is used exclusively for analytics and marketing attribution. We do not sell personal data.
Security: Attribution data is transmitted over HTTPS and handled according to our security practices.
9A. Android Attribution, Google Advertising ID & Install Referrer
PickPilot uses the AppsFlyer SDK and Google Play Install Referrer on Android to measure application installs, registrations, engagement with subscription features, free-trial starts, subscription conversions, and other limited application interactions. This information helps us understand how users discover PickPilot, evaluate marketing performance, improve user acquisition, and analyze application usage.
Events Collected: Android attribution and analytics events may include registration completion, login method, paywall views, subscription-plan selections, checkout initiation, free-trial starts, subscription conversions, and purchase states such as pending, canceled, or failed purchases.
Identifiers and Technical Information: AppsFlyer may process the Google Advertising ID (GAID) when available, AppsFlyer or device identifiers, Google Play install-referrer information, device and application information, session information, IP/network information, approximate geographic information derived from an IP address, and limited diagnostic or performance information associated with SDK operation.
PickPilot does not use Android location permissions to obtain precise GPS location for attribution. The Android implementation also does not intentionally send your email address, Cognito user identifier, password, authentication tokens, Google authentication tokens, or Google Play purchase token to AppsFlyer.
Use of Data: Android attribution and analytics information is used for analytics, attribution, marketing measurement, campaign optimization, fraud prevention, and improving the Service. Attribution and conversion information may be shared with advertising platforms when the applicable advertising-partner integration is enabled.
Google Play Billing: Android subscriptions are purchased and administered through Google Play. Google handles users’ payment credentials. PickPilot receives subscription-related information necessary to determine access to subscription features, including product and plan information, purchase status, entitlement state, trial or subscription status, and price or currency information where applicable.
Security: Attribution and subscription-related communications are transmitted using secure network connections and handled in accordance with our security practices and the applicable service providers’ policies. We do not sell personal data.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in the app or by updating the “Effective Date.” Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
